ONE KNIGHT ONLY
...BUT SIX DAMES TO SEE!

3 MONTHS ON, AND THE GREAT AND THE GOOD OF THE BRITISH STAGE COME TOGETHER AT THE THEATRE ROYAL, HAYMARKET IN AID OF THE ASIAN TSUNAMI APPEAL.

Three of Britain's most distinguished theatrical Dames, JOAN PLOWRIGHT, JUDI DENCH who reflected "All getting together to do something that we love for a worthwhile cause seems to me to be the best of all possible worlds," and MAGGIE SMITH, previously worked together on the feature film Tea With Mussolini. "A TRUE DELIGHT" was the universal opinion.

Now Dame Joan's daughter, JULIE-KATE OLIVIER, has taken this stellar trio and teamed it with three more Dame Commanders of the Order of the British Empire (to give them their full handle): DAME HELEN MIRREN, DAME DIANA RIGG AND DAME EILEEN ATKINS - (last year's Best Actress at the Laurence Olivier Awards), who added "This tragedy will be ongoing and I am more than happy to help in any way I can."

Add one titled gentleman - SIR ANTONY SHER - to the mix AND YOU HAVE THE LEGEND-SPANGLED CAST OF " ONE KNIGHT ONLY ", A MAGICAL, definitely never-to-be-repeated evening of music, comedy and drama.

And as if this illustrious septet weren't enough to fill a seat or two, their cast of ravishing guests includes KIM CATTRALL, EDWARD FOX, CELIA IMRIE, JOANNA LUMLEY, SIAN PHILLIPS, PATRICK STEWART AND ZOE WANAMAKER.

NOT-TO-BE-MISSED-AT-ANY-COST- the purpose of this entertainment is to raise money for the continuing tsunami relief effort in India and Sri Lanka . Direct support will be provided to small organisations benefiting from local knowledge and expertise. With this help communities wiped out by the disaster can be rebuilt one village at a time.

"ONE KNIGHT ONLY" is at 7.00pm ON SUNDAY 20th MARCH 2005
AT THE THEATRE ROYAL , HAYMARKET .
It will be compèred by the original 'Loose End' himself MR NED SHERRIN.
