If you are a UK taxpayer eligible for Gift Aid, you can donate either a) online or b) by sending in a cheque. Wherever possible we ask donors to pay by Gift Aid as this boosts the value of their donation by 28%.
a) Online
For us to benefit from 28% extra on top of your donation via UK government Gift Aid, UK taxpayers should donate online at www.thewebofhope.com. PLEASE MAKE SURE to select 'Friends of the South' as the recipient of your donation from the drop-down menu.
b) By Cheque
It is also possible to pay by cheque and get Gift Aid. To do this, please complete the Gift Aid declaration form and send with your cheque to the Web Of Hope’s office. PLEASE NOTE that your cheque should be made out to ‘The Web of Hope Tsunami Appeal’, and that you should write ‘Friends of the South’ on the back of the cheque or state in your covering letter that the funds are for the Friends of the South.
